Re-Suspend Before You Refill
White ink contains heavy pigment that naturally settles during storage, shipping or idle time.
When that happens, the bottom of the bottle can become more pigment-heavy while the upper portion becomes relatively lighter. Pouring the bottle directly into the printer means the circulation system starts with whatever mixture it receives.
Eddy2 adds a preparation step before refill.
Using controlled orbital rotation, Eddy2 helps redistribute settled pigment in a 2 L ink bottle through a 10-minute cycle, giving operators a more standardized alternative to manual shaking.
Features & Benefits
- Protect Your Printheads: Helps reduce sediment entering the ink system and lower clog-related risk.
- Keep White Output Consistent: Better pigment distribution supports more stable white density from refill to refill.
- Save Valuable Workspace: Mounts to your printer stand to keep ink prep close without taking up extra bench space.
- Make Every Refill Repeatable: A standardized 10-minute cycle removes guesswork from ink preparation.
- Free Up Operator Time: One-click, hands-free operation replaces repeated manual shaking while you keep working.
Why Not Just Shake the Bottle by Hand?
Manual shaking can vary in time, force and technique from one operator to another. It also requires hands-on effort every time the bottle needs preparation.
Eddy2 turns that task into a simple routine:
Load → Secure → Start → Refill
Once the cycle starts, your operator can continue preparing the next job.
When Is Eddy2 Most Useful?
Eddy2 is especially useful for:
- New, stored or shipped ink
- Ink left idle overnight or longer
- Cold or unstable shop environments
- On-and-off production
- Before refilling white ink tanks
- Multi-printer or demo setups
