  • Create Design: While prepare the design for transfer, it is recommended to use high-resolution vector images that can be scaled infinitely without losing quality and is ideal for printing.
  • Design Creation: Use graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create your cup wrap design. Ensure that the design dimensions match the size of the cup you’re printing for.
  • Prepare the UV DTF Film: Before loading the film onto the printer, inspect the roll for any wrinkles, creases, or damage .Smooth out any imperfections to prevent printing issues and ensure consistent results.
  • Load UV DTF Film: Load a roll of UV DTF film onto the printer’s roll holder. Align the leading edge of the film roll with the printer’s roll holder or spindle. Make sure the film is centered and properly seated to prevent misfeeds or skewing during printing. Ensure that the film is loaded without any overlaps or twists. How to apply UV DTF cup wraps?

Applying UV DTF cup wraps to your glass tumblers, jars, mugs or cups could also be a very simple process and following is a quick guide to accomplish the work:

  • Step 1: Thoroughly wash and clean the cup, then dry it with a cloth.
  • Step 2: Cut out the UV DTF stickers according to your desired design.
  • Step 3: Remove a 1-inch width of backing from the edge of the UV sticker to expose the adhesive area.
  • Step 4: Carefully position the adhesive area on the cup, ensuring the design is straight.
  • Step 5: Roll the cup to gradually remove the backing of the sticker, ensuring the adhesive securely adheres to the cup until the entire wrap sticks.
  • Step 6: Apply pressure to the sticker for 3-5 minutes using your palm to activate the adhesive with body heat, facilitating easier peeling.
  • Step 7: Slowly peel off the cover sheet, gently pressing down any lifted parts and re-peeling if necessary.
  • Step 8: Smooth out the decal with your fingers and palm from the center to the edges, ensuring no bubbles remain in the design.

  • Avoid using alcohol when washing the glass, as it can hinder the sticker’s adhesion.
  • Opt against using frosted sublimation cups for wraps, as they won’t adhere properly.
  • Refrain from washing the cup immediately after removing the cover sheet; wait at least 24 hours for the adhesive to activate effectively.

How to remove UV DTF from glass?

At times, you may need to remove a UV DTF sticker from glass. For instance, if it was applied for a temporary event or promotion and you now want to update the design. Similarly, if the sticker was placed incorrectly or damaged, removal becomes necessary. This process can be easily accomplished in a few steps:

  • Step 1: Soak the glass with UV DTF sticker into hot water (around 80°C) for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Step 2: Gently peel off the whole UV DTF sticker from the glass with craft knife.
  • Step 3: Spray adhesive remover or similar liquid on glass to dissolve the adhesive residue.

Is UV DTF dishwasher safe?
